      I was on codeine and Percocet. Didn't help but found myself becoming physically dependent on the Percs. Have since sworn off narcotics. 7 months clean. Lyrica helps with the neuropathic pain but the side effects are brutal. I am in the process of being weaned off. Rather have the pain than the side effects.

      Ah yes I understand... I was on them for 3 months and stopped them without weaning.. But luckily I wasn't hooked. ( I have sciatica, 2 twists in the spine.. Not noticeable on the outside.. And rheumatoid arthritis in the spine hips and knees lol) That must have been awful for you! Yeah I avoid a lot of medicines due to side effects.. I'm trying health shops etc.. Anything to avoid the stomach pain or ulcers that painkillers give you.
      Would even try acupuncture or hot stones when it gets really bad! Kneewise.... Previous knee injuries.. Mine crunch constantly.. But I have hypermobility syndrome so that doesn't help with the knee problems.. Need an MOT lol hopefully you will find something that will work for you or at least ease the pain :):heart:
