Same food, now hungry

I'm 30 days into MFP, and I've been eating the same meals for breakfast and lunch for most of that time (weekends and dinners change though). I've been going to the gym about 3 days a week, for the last 3 weeks (not so much gym that first week). But, in the last couple (4 maybe) days, I've been much much hungrier. Friday, I went to the gym at my usual time after my regular breakfast, but ended up getting that sickly feeling. Sooo... what's up with that? Thoughts?

I would seriously up my protein. Remember fats and protein keep you sated longer.0

I never eat just before going to the gym. Not even in the morning. But as @Liftng4Lis said, if you haven't already, you do need to up your protein.0

Are you eating enough?
Eat to your MFP calorie goal plus 50-75% of the calories you have burnt through exercise.
Are you weighing all your food on a scale? It is best if you do as you have a better idea of your consumption.
I don't like eating for a couple of hours before I go to the gym. If you feel you need something, make it light.

I find it much easier to feel full when I fast through one meal to eat a lot more at the next. Everyone's a bit different, you'll have to figure out what combination of foods and timing works best for you.0

I eat toast with peanut butter and milk, then about an hour and a half later I go to the gym. I weigh my food, not pregnant. Was mainly curious why I'd suddenly be hungry when the meal pattern has been working for me so far. Having trouble adding protein! Lacking creativity, I suppose.0

Is your period due soon? I'm a bottomless pit the week before mine.
But yeah, otherwise, more protein and fat, less carb. And with what you have to lose and your age, 1420 is really too little food... decrease your goal to one pount a week.0 -
I supplement with protein bars to get the protein I need.0
