Hi - I have been tracking my food and exercise on this site for a while, but have never joined a group...I could use a kick in the pants! I lost 18 lbs from Jan - April and have gained 6 back...I have 15 - 20 lbs that I would like to lose...how do I join your Sixers Headed for the Beach challenge?0

This a six week challenge. we go for six weeks, weigh ins on tuesdays. We are a great bunch of ladies looking for support to give and receive through this tough life long journey.

Explanation of how we work. please read, if you have any questions someone will be happy to help you.
the SW is your STARTING WEIGHT OF THIS SIX WEEK CHALLENGE
the GW is your GOAL WEIGHT OF WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE THE SCALE TO SAY AT THE END OF SIX WEEKS
the CW is your CURRENT WEIGHT AT THE WEIGH IN FOR THAT WEEK
the PROGRESS is your LOSS/GAIN FROM THE STARTING WEIGHT OF THE CHALLENGE
copy and paste the list. there will most likely be a top section and bottom section when you check in with your weight (right now it's just one). move your name from the bottom section to the top section. If you are the first to check in than just move your name to the top and add a space between you and the ones below you.0 -

Hi Chipper -
I am 43 and have been married for 13 years (almost)...I have 2 step children (daughter 24) and son (18). My stepdaughter is a teacher in a school for children with mental illness (she is so good) and my stepson is graduating from high school this week and has joined the Air Force - we are just waiting to find out what his job will be and when he will leave for boot camp. I work in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry and have a job with great work / life balance! It is time for me to take control of my daily diet and to make exercise a priority. I have the time! The hardest part for me is that my husband does not like to exercise (except for hiking) and I NEED to exercise to lose / maintain my weight...
I look forward to the support and accountability of this group!

I am also going to get more serious about eating Paleo again...cut way down on my carbs, sodium, and dairy and increase my lean protein and veggetables!

Well...started level 2 of the Ripped in 30 last night and it is pretty challenging. I didn't burn as many calories as I did with level 1, but I think there is more core work! Hoping to see some good results this week with this level! I WILL lose 5 pounds this challenge! I need to! I have about 12 pounds to reach my goal weight and I want to reach that before Kadence's 2nd birthday (September 5th). So...time to DO IT!

okay, so I have lofty goals this time too (10 lbs same as last time). I really would LOVE to get down to the 140's by the wedding -- only 3 weeks to go. I know that's like 6lbs in 3 weeks, but i really think that i actually have some water weight form this weekend to get rid of, so we will see. I need to up my work outs too -- it's not as if i don't have the time right now (son is still visiting his grandparents in Alabama)0

Seems like the past 4 weeks or more the scale hasn't moved. I have bumped up my cardio so hoping that will help!! I'm ready to head to the beach and buy a new bathingsuit!!
