Fitbit Weekly Progress Reports?

Hey,

I got my weekly progress report from Fitbit yesterday or today. The cal in vs cal out for the deficit, it doesn't match what I have logged. Does that happen to everyone else? It is like 2,500 less. Thanks!

    I'm a little confused by what your asking.

    On the right side you should see:
    Calories burned
    Calories Consumed
    plan deficit

    The big number shows how close you were to your planned deficit:
    Negative number = you were under your planned deficit by that many calories
    Positive number = you were over your planned deficit by that many calories

    I just checked on of the reports I have saved:
    For the week in question, I was 45 calories over maintenance by the numbers I have written down (one could be off though).
    Calories burned: 16159
    Calories consumed: 16207
    Plan: -3500
    Big number on left: +3548
    Lines up pretty closely. Fitbit is saying that I was 3548 over my planned deficit which is about 48 calories over maintenance for the week.

    The Fitbit report tells you how much you were under or over your Fitbit plan deficit, not your absolute deficit.

    It depends on what symbol is in front. + you were over. - you were under.
    If aiming for -7000 per week, then you were over by 3927. Fitbit would show this as +3927.
    If aiming for -5250 per week, then you were over by 323. Fitbit would show this as +323.
    If aiming for -3500 per week, then you were under by 1427. Fitbit would show this as -1427.

    Wait, I'm confused. That's not how my weekly progress report looks. It tells me calories in and calories out and then calculates my total deficit. The dashboard on the website each day acts as you say and tells me how much I was off from my planned deficit, but not the weekly progress report.

    Ooh it had a +. I can never make my 7000 calorie a week deficit. I'm not sure if I ever have

    In the first picture I am 3548 over my planned deficit for the week. 48 calories over maintenance.
    In the second picture I am 191 under my planned deficit. My total deficit would be:
    19,455 - 14014 = 5441
    My total deficit was 5441 for the week. I planned for 5250. I was under my plan by 191 calories.
