Healthy breakfasts for cooler weather

So autumn's here, winter around the corner - any ideas for nourishing, comforting breakfasts low in cals?
This morning I poured boiling water onto 3 big desert spoons of rolled oats with a grated apple. Added a couple of chopped brazil nuts and a spoon of pumpkin seed. It didn't need sweetener, the apple was fresh, local and very sweet. If it needed something sweet I'd add a teaspoon of grade 3 maple syrup.
Please, some more suggestions!

This looks so beautiful! I took fresh figs to my daughter today. She is disabled with MS, but enjoys the good things in life!0

Pumpkin spice oatmeal pancakes - 1 cup rolled oats, 1 cup cottage cheese or yogurt, 1/2 cup pumpkin, 2 eggs and pumpkin spice. Blend it up and use 1/2 cup of mixture per pancake. It makes about 6. You can also substitute sweet potato or apple sauce for the pumpkin.0
