Inflammation/aches that do not go away.

I have been exercising for years (over 30 years) at least 5 days a week. I alternate between cardio and strength training and I walk each evening for 30 minutes outside. Lately my body (mostly below the waist) has just been sore/achy/tired...not sure how to explain it. This feeling does not go away like the soreness of a workout. I am still working out regularly...should I be doing that? Any ideas on what is causing this? I am now in my 50's. Is it age related?

I have these aches when I eat too much carbs or sugar. That may not be your problem, but it could be possibility.
Have you tried upping your water? Maybe to help flush your system a bit.
If you are walking a lot of hills, maybe try walking on more flat ground.0 -
My dad has a saying: "Getting old sucks, son, but I guess it's better than some of the alternatives."0

It could be a lot of things - age, medical issues, poor sleep, insufficient calories or other dietary component, etc. If you haven't had a full checkup by a doctor recently, i'd start with that. Try taking 2 full days off all exercise and see if the soreness improves. Post your results.
