I have just started on maintenace and was wanting to know what I can do to change some of the fat that I have put on into muscle?
I do yoga, swim, and walk quite a lot but am terrible with high impact exercise.

If you want to build muscle, strength training is the way to go. If you're not (safely) overloading your muscles, you won't build muscle mass.0
