With resistance bands and a weight ball/medicine ball whatever you want to call it?

I've got the resistance bands but I don't really know what to do with them or if they're actually any good for anything so I was wondering if anyone anyone here use them and are they helpful?
And I saw weight balls in store the other day they were quite well priced I thought about buying one but again I don't really know many workouts to use them for.

I'm kind of just looking for ways to mix up my exercise routine at home I thought buying a few more pieces of equipment would be good but I also don't want to waste my money on things that aren't worthwhile

Thanks in advance :)

    I wish I could point you towards a routine but I can't...

Just want to say that resistance bands are definitely not useless. Bret Contreras often still incorporates them in the training of his clients who are also lifting heavy.

If you don't want to waste your money on things that aren't worthwhile then get your set a decent set of dumbbells, an Olympic barbell and some plates.

There's a near endless amount of bodyweight exercises you can do that don't involve equipment

There are a ton of exercises that you can do with resistance bands. Just go on-line and google it. There are charts that will give you exercises for full body workouts, apps that you can add to your phone that will guide you through a workout, ect. I think resistance bands are great and a great addition to your workout!

Resistance bands are great. Run the middle part of the band under your feet, and you can do resistance squats and lunges, bicep curls, shoulder presses, tricep extensions, rows. Keep the band there, and do resistance punches and uppercuts to add some resistance to a martial arts style workout.
Get in pushup position, run the band across your back/shoulders and hold in each hand for resistance pushups (I know my description is horrible, just Google or YouTube it). Get a door attachment, and you can simulate pullup moves.

While I would say "just to name a few".......I think it's quite evident that "few" is not an accurate term.
