I have a bad case of the 'burn and I applied "sweat resistant" sunscreen (SPF 50) before hand. DOes anyone have a brand that might work better than Banana Boat sport Active Dry protect?

I like the Neutrogena spray sunscreens the best. Although I find that if I apply it too soon to the start of the work out, it will sweat into my eyes. Best to let it settle a bit before working out.

I cannot run in the summer because I sweat so much and makes any sunscreen completely worthless! If I do, I try and go in the early morning or late afternoon/evening. Maybe a really light layer to wear while running?
  • Copper Tone sport works like a champ. I use SPF 30 but I have seen 50 and 100 in the same brand.

Here's an article with some recommendations: http://health.howstuffworks.com/skin-care/beauty/sun-care/5-sunscreens-for-athletes.htm

Ive been using the Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch SPF 50. It doesn't smell too strong and it doesn't have that thick icky feel when you put it on or when you start to get sweaty.
