Okay, so I've been a picky eater all my life, I've decided to eat healthy, no matter if I like it or not, every day since joining MFP I pass my sugar and sodium numbers, I need some snack ideas that dont have a lot of those two things, esp sugar! Thanks for any advice I can get :) God bless

Dont add white sugar to your foods. Add natural sugars, like fruit, a couple of raisins. Where is yours coming from?

since i am not diabetic, i ignore the sugars counter .. as i know i am using no refined sugars and rarely use honey except as a rare treat.

the sodium is another matter... i keep mine below 1500 because i have high blood pressure as well as water retention. To keep it low i rarely use pre-processed foods (such as frozen meals, canned soups etc etc etc) and cook whole clean foods from scratch.

Feel free to have a look at my diary if you wish.. it's public.
  • I try to have vegetables as a snack as much as possible. (I also like fruits and cheese and crackers as a snack... )
