Need hope and motivation

I'm trying to get a kickstart on my logging etc. for the past 2 weeks, I've been using my Fitbit and have been part of a weekly challenge. My goal is 10,000 steps a day and 5 miles a day. I do half at work then walk on trails for the other half. I'm realllly trying to get under 200. Right now I'm 5'3" and 220lbs.

I have a couple of questions.
1. Does anyone here have a favorite affordable food scale?
2. Anyone know of a Facebook group for people who count calories? I've found great motivation with groups like these.
3. Anyone here been around my height and weight and lost a decent amount of weight and what did you do to get there?

I need hope and motivation more than anything!!!
