For starters I'm a 20 year old male, 6'1" tall, 265lbs and my goal weight is 215lbs. I'm wanting to lose my weight pretty fast (before or into February 2016). I used to play football from 6th grade to 12th grade and I worked out from age 13-18 and quit after high school. After high school I didn't have the motivation to lift anymore because all my football buddies were either in college, working or still in high school so I didn't have the moral to lift. I started working for my dad in his tree service roughly 3 months after my high school graduation in 2014. The spring semester of 2015 I enrolled in community college and didn't get a chance to work so I gained my weight back. (During senior year football I was 260 and after football I dropped to 210 during the rest of my senior year, I had two gym classes so I was still active and I didn't have much of an appetite for some reason so with lifting weights and running at least a mile every day caused me to drop 50 pounds in a couple months). So no activity during college made me gain weight again. I quit college after one semester and kept working for my dad. I pick up heavy logs and throw them in a truck and drag tree limbs and throw them into a wood chipper for 8 hours a day, so I'm pretty active now, just not losing weight! I never did eat "right" when I lifted and played football all these years but I maintained a good weight without eating right. So I don't know what to eat to help me lose weight. I'm starting a new job next week for freightliner so I should still be a little active and I'm also getting a membership at a gym so I can start lifting again. My main goal here is to tell y'all about my life and to ask what is the best meals to cut weight with low calories and low carbs. Maybe include a few different meals ( say 2 or 3 for breakfast, lunch and dinner so I don't eat the same thing every day and lose motivation). Maybe include some personal experience with your diet and some of the things that motivated you during your weight loss. A few workout plans would be nice too! Thank you!!!

That is 50 pounds by Feb 2016? Not gonna happen in 4 months... what's the hurry?

And for starters you need to eat what MFP has recommended for your calories and the deficit to loose weight... This is how you loos weight... Dude there is no meals to cut.. And low carb is not necessarily low calorie...

Eat what you already enjoy eating just eat the amounts that are recommended within your daily MFP calorie allotment.

I would not even know where to begin giving a stranger meals to eat and exercise plans.. You need to set some goals on your weight loss journey and be realistic about how fast you can loose in a healthy way. Also you need to set fitness goals that will help you loose the weight and perhaps maintain your muscle mass while you are loosing weight.

My personal experience is eat food that I enjoy just less of it and as long as it fits my calories, I can eat it.

Best of luck to you .... do not over think this...

Spend a week putting every meal and snack into the diary.
Then evaluate where your calories are coming from and make a plan to reduce the calories.
In other words, you can eat the same things that you are eating now, as long as you eat less of them.

Let MFP give you a calorie target and then educate yourself in basic nutrition. Lots of veggies, fruit, protein, whole grain, dairy and don't forget to enjoy some snacks. Everyone's plan is highly individual based on culture and food preferences. Just say in your calorie goal, get the nutrients you need and learn some patience.
