Can you explain the cholesterol section under fats please.

Also. I seem to go over my mono saturated fat totals.I am trying to cut cholesterol and so I need less saturated and more mono fats.I go over really easily but I think these are really good for me

The poly and monounsaturated fats show up as N/A or (in some cases, due to a glitch) 0. They are supposed to be N/A because there's no limit set for them (beyond whatever you choose to have as your fat goal minus other fat, of course). Therefore, you can't really go over them and should just ignore them (or watch them if you want to keep them up).

Don't worry about getting negative numbers for goals that aren't meant as limits (another example is fiber). Also, macro goals in general (meaning fat, protein, and carbs) are subject to personal preference as there are a wide range of healthy possibilities, so can be re-set based on what you prefer. Other than calories I'd use the others as more for informational purposes or perhaps to focus on anything your doctor has told you to watch.

Dietary cholesterol is not related to cholesterol in the body

Sat fat is for some people, though, so if your cholesterol is high they will often have you cut sat fat to see if it helps. It did help my dad.

Don't eat meat or eggs. Cholesterol is only found in animal products.

Once again Dietary Cholesterol has no bearing on Cholesterol in your body. Sat fats may be something to watch as lemurcat pointed out. Please don't spread misinformation

I ignore it. Dropped my cholesterol count by reducing body fat. This works for most people...but not all. As Rabbitjb says, Dietary Cholesterol does not appear to have bearing on Cholesterol in your body. Trans fats are what you have to watch out for.
