Okay so I kind of cheated and used meat that I cooked the night before, but here's the recipe! So healthy and delicious and only 321 calories in two whole cups!

Two cans of chunky crushed tomatoes
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 sweet onion
48 oz ground beef 90% lean (I prefer 95% but couldn't find any) ***this was cooked before putting in the slow cooker!***
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of black beans
Minced garlic
Basil
Mrs. Dash's Southwest seasoning

Cook all ingredients on high for 4-4.5 hours and serve!

Makes 6 quarts of chili. Serves 12.

I buy mine at wegmans :) unfortunately, they don't sell it as a value pack, so it's a bit more expensive than the 90/10.

The beauty of a good chilli is flexibility of ingredients

I was only speaking from a Texan perspective. When I make chili, there's no beans. The majority of the ingredients in mine is dried chili powders. But I also make sure that I'm aligning keto periods with cold weather snaps because when I make chili, i'm only focusing on getting in fat and protein.

edit: i should say i meant no harm in my original statement....i just always like to say chili has no beans

Beans are good & good for you. I use dried & add the equivalent of 3 cans to chili.
