How much water is a cup of water

I everyone! How are you all doing? I'm really good, thanks for asking...
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knows how many ml are in the MFP definition of a cup of water? I have a water bottle at work and have been counting 2 cups for every bottle.
Any help appreciated, maybe the info is on here somewhere, but I'm very lazy.
PS anyone who wants to add me as a friend, feel free. I am doing my best to be less unreliable and forcing myself to log in everyday...

I would fill up your water bottle and pour it into a 4 cup measuring cup to see how many cups it holds.1

1 cup = 8 fl oz = 250 ml
It's a surprisingly small amount. Most of the glasses and mugs in my home hold more than 8 oz.0 -
Thanks guys, You are all super. I've been getting it right in that case, 1 x 500 ml bottle=2 cups.

Resurrected necro thread but this is the kind that I like to see. Basic info that does not change and newbie member actually used the search function. Good job!0

To be picky, 8 fl oz = 1 cup = 236.588 ml. The US "legal" cup used in nutritional information is 240 ml. A metric cup is 250 ml.0
