Nutritionist/personal trainer view of Thrive, It Works, etc.

I have several friends now promoting different weightless aids such as Thrive, It Works and Plexus.
I have taken some personal training classes though not certified yet and think these things are making people believe they work when in reality it is the healthy eating habits and exercise they are do that is actually working.
What do you trainers and nutritionist think about these things?

Most people with a solid background of nutrition and fitness agree that all those products make money off desperate people. It's a way to trick people into eating less and moving more, but claim it is the product and make a profit.

Cosigned, and I'm not even a trainer or nutritionist (nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night)

Sorry, there really aren't a lot of other professional trained people here...

There are more than you think. Many don't participate in the forums and those who do just don't advertise their qualifications.

Thanks for the input. I don't feel so alone on this now. So many of my friends are currently being swayed by these wraps and greens.
