I've been cutting successfully and gotten down to 160. I want to start to bulk. I want to put on lean muscle mass. I ask all my friends on here and i go on youtube and see chris jones mat ogus all these youtube guys on what they do to put on mass. Progressive over load. Heavy sets and dropping weight. I've been doing all this and have not seen much muscle growth. I wonder will i ever get there? Whats it going to take to be great? to reach that dream body. I want to do it natural and do not want to take steroids. But i think how can i get there. If you guys have any advice please share. I do a five day split. Monday leg(squats 5 sets light then heavy. leg press. leg extensions. stiff legged dead lifts and leg curls) tuesday chest( start with dips and bench press for 4 sets. going up in weight. decline dumbbell press 3 sets. dumbbell pull overs. incline dumbbell press and then cable flys. i change it up) wednesday shoulders(start with smith machine be head the head press. 3 sets going up in weight. then dumbbell press or arnold presses. up right rows. lateral raise, front side and rear.) thursday arms( start with stright barbell curls 3 sets then after that go into skull crushers 3 sets. dumbbell curls into hammer curls. then over head tricep press for long head into push ups. and do more for arm to long to type.) friday i try to hit legs again or i will hit back. let me know what you guys think. I really want to make gains

What is your diet like? Proper lifting is of course important, but mass growth is a function of getting a surplus of calories in your daily diet.

    Calories...how many calories?

The simple fact is if you're not gaining mass (fat, muscle, or otherwise) you're not eating enough.

What are you stats, macros, activity level outside of the gym?

By the way it reads, it would appear you are just doing random moves.. have you considered a proven structured lifting program like stronglift 5x5, starting strength, ice cream fitness?

and OP if you are not seeing gains then you are not eating enough, period.

Most women don't build muscle at 2000 calories. What do you think the chances are for a male? If you want mass, you need to eat enough calories to be in a surplus.

So you will need to eat enough calories (start adding 200 calories every other week until you gain) and then do a structured program. You would only be doing yourself a disservice to create your own workout.

if you eat in a surplus and run 5x5 you will add muscle mass..

you are not eating enough calories.
