Been trying this challenge for a few months now and I'm pretty happy with the results so far! Thought I would get this app again to keep track. Well I'm from England so add me up

    It's impossible to add 100% muscle while bulking. You will gain fat no matter what your training plan is like. You can minimize fat gains by closely tracking your intake, but you'll still gain fat.

    It is not impossible to build muscle and lose fat simultaneously at all.. Good timed cardio, low carb high protein regular meals along with heavy weights! There are thousands of blokes muscled up with basically 0% body fat

    The key ingredient you are forgetting for those dudes is steroids. A person who is natural cannot gain muscle and lose fat at a significant rate no matter how you try to juggle meals, macros, lifting and cardio. Gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time is a very long and slow process.

    I know, that's why this is a long challenge.. With a good routine though it can be speeded up though.

    How fast are you thinking you're going to be doing this? Really, routines aren't going to speed recomposition up in a significant way.

    However long until it takes until I get to my goal weight and body fat.. I never did cardio and didn't gain much fat then! so I know with my body, good cardio and core first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, 5 good meals in the day then night time heavy weights with a meal before bed will speed it up more than if I didn't incorporate cardio or eat 3 meals blah blah.. I haven't gave any goal or time frame just that I'm working on building fat and losing muscle at the same time, which, is not impossible so there is really no argument.

    Unfortunately science doesn't quite back those conclusions you've made, but you'll figure that out eventually. Good luck.

    Well no. Even the best bodybuilders in the world get to 4% body fat for A DAY OR TWO only. No one has 0% body fat.
    Also a ketogenic diet isn't as conducive to building muscle versus one with moderate to high carbs because of some issues with mTOR signalling pathway.
