'How To' Help: How do you add text to pics and make collages?

I would love to know how you fabulous people are adding text to pictures, arrows to graphs, and making photo collages! (I'm posting this in "Success Stories" because this is where I see the most examples.)

What app or software are you using to do that? I have an iPhone and a MacBook, so the apple ecosystem here. Please point me to some software!

Personally, I like PicFrame and Labelbox on my iPhone. You could do the same thing with photoshop on your mac.

I use several.

Fotor (I prefer the website, but they also have an app. This is what I use when I'm uploading from my PC.)

Aviary (to crop/edit/add text/effects)
