Your body/stomach doesn't freak out when you fly to the other side of the world.

It doesn't matter when you eat. You burn energy day and night.

The whole "don't eat x hours before bed" is broscience.

    Ignore "people"

    Meal timing is irrelevant

    Meaning ...overall it doesn't matter

Yes there is some research that metabolic rate does slow at night whether awake or asleep, based on ciccadian rhythms IIRC...but overall your TDEE will be marginally affected and it certainly shouldn't impact on meal timing

Calories matter long term...not within the day

Stick to your calorie goal across the week and don't let dieting minutiae from the huge health and fitness industry sway you from the fact that

CI<CO over time is all that matters for weight loss

    You're welcome and good luck

(Best decision I ever made, after decades of yo-yoing, was to ignore all the information and just focus on Calories in vs calories out...you have to be a stubborn old goat to ignore media, celebs, family, friends...but try it...it works a lot ..learn to raise an inward eyebrow as you smile and nod ;) )
