Just a lot of sensible approaches from a lot of different angles I think. The first month I was running up far too high calorie deficits and great friends helped bring me back in line to fuel my body properly. Nutrition wise is nearly exclusively eating whole foods, very high protein and High-GI carbs are saved for after the evening workout to refuel muscles glycogen stores.

I fast for three hours before evening strength training. In terms of cardio there is everything from rollerblading and exercise bike up to some extremely long hikes (43 miles, 30 miles, 20 miles etc.) It is hard to describe what I've done on the journey as it has kept adapting as I researched new advice and figured out what works best for me. Top of the list though I would say that the nutritional quality of the food you eat is far more important than the calories you eat :)

Still a long way to go, hope to see you all back here at the 180 day check-in, thank-you all so much again for your kindness and encouragement!
