    Moved to Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada 6 months ago from my "home" Kelowna, British Columbia Canada (for love). Huge difference in the winters here and I am going into shock. It's one of my obstacles actually - way to cold to want to be outside movin' my butt! I did tonight though - got dressed up and took a 20 minute walk and I survived! Wow! Anyway, despite the cold winter I am definitely a PROUD CANADIAN!

    Oh yes, we do talk a bit slooooow up here. I think it's because the winters are so cold!

    I love the cold - we have tons of snow and crosscountry skiing is one of the best calorie burners :happy: If i keep this up may be I'll be lean and mean by summer. :wink:

    Hi everyone.
    I am from a small town called Violet. It is about 25 miles southeast of New Orleans, LA
    It is amazing how in this generation we are able to communicate this way and be so many miles apart from one another.....YEAH! for modern technology.....
    I am new at this website and find it very useful so far. Tracking my food intake has brought me to realize that I don't eat enough calories but to many carbs......not enough proteins. Something towork on. Here's to new beginnings for 2009. Wishing everyone the best of luck this year in our journeys whatever they may be.
    My starting weight is 230lbs.....way to much for my short height of 5'2"
