                    i ate my calorie limit, but in mostly candy since yesterday was halloween. will this negatively effect me?

 You haven't had anything of nutritional value
 But a calorie is a calorie0

            If it doesn't become a habit it will not affect your weight. You have to treat yourself from time to time.0

            You may not feel good today since you most likely missed protein and micros. If you logged honestly any weight gain will probably be water weight.0

            As long as that's not a recurring pattern you'll be fine.
 A calorie is a calorie (mostly) from a purely weight loss point of view, but nutrition is important, too. If you ate that way daily, you'd eventually suffer from malnutrition from various deficiencies. But for a day, sure, it's not a problem although you might get a stomach ache or something.0

 As to weight loss, a calorie is a calorie.
 Nutritionally wise, what you ate is not good. Candy is wonderful, just moderate it so you get your nutritional needs met.
