Lunch break exercise

When exercising during my lunch brake (I have an hour for lunch) should I eat before or after exercise? By exercise I mean a brisk 20-30 minute walk...

Whichever you prefer.0

It won't make any difference for weight loss. Eat when it is convenient for you.0

I would personally do it after, only because I wouldnt want to feel 'heavy' or have all that shifting around. I try to exercise before I eat(same concept before brkfst). But that is just me.0

I eat after because I find myself less hungry after I'm all hot. I also walk 20-30 min, then have a salad after0

For weight loss it doesn't matter. I prefer to eat after so I am not exercising with a full belly and risk cramps.0

I love a brisk walk on my lunch hour! I typically eat a piece of fruit and have lunch when I am finished, but I don't think it really matters. Do what works best for you.0

I usually eat after as well. I like to postpone lunch as long as possible so I don't hit the 3:00 slump quite so bad. But as the others said, it doesn't matter either way.0

I'm opposite. I like to eat before. I don't eat a huge lunch to weigh me down. For me, I eat before so I'm not starving.0

I always eat after my run. I like running fasted. I tried running a couple times after eating a meal and I feel horrible0

For my own personal preference I have found that I get sick to my stomach if I eat immediately before exercising so I exercise then I eat, even if I just have a shake after.0

Ditto.0 -
If I'm running at lunchtime, I sometimes have a banana or something an hour before, then eat my lunch afterwards. If I've had a high protein breakfast I can skip the snack. If I don't feed myself properly after exercise I end up with a headache in the afternoon.
If I'm not running, I usually eat my lunch and then go for a walk, but it's usually a chatty walk with slow coaches.0 -
Whatever works for you.
Personally, I have a banana about 11:30 am, then I go for a 30-60 min walk starting at 12:30 pm, then I have lunch somewhere between about 1:30 and 2 pm. That works for me.0 -
I personally like to eat after. That way I am not exercising on an empty stomach. I also tend to eat less after. But whatever is more comfortable to you.0
