Getting back to healthy eating after illness

I was ill a fortnight ago and couldn't eat anything non-liquid. However, all I could swallow was sugary fruit juice and plenty of soup (accompanied by bread when I could swallow again). Sure, I didn't gain any weight, but I was on a roll with losing it before.

It's been about a week since I "got better" and started eating solids again, but I've really struggled to get back to the diet. Instead I've been munching on carb-high foods such as chicken fried rice and tuna pasta so I have energy as I'm still fairly lethargic.

I returned to my breakfast shake today and have planned out my evening meals for the week but I wanted to know how everyone else got back to it and if they've got any tips.
