losing weight too fast?

I've been eating healthy and being more active since September, and I've already lost a little while over 30 pounds. I keep reading that its better to lose at a slow steady pace than too fast. I just started tracking what I eat about week ago. I'm scared that eventually the scales number is going to not move at all.

Its kinds hard to give you feedback just from your post and your profile doesnt tell me much more. 30 pounds is a lot of weight for what I am guessing is 8-9 weeks. However cant really say if its too fast, depends on how much weight you have to lose, how much you are eating and exercising. Your weight loss will slow down the closer you get to your goal weight. But if your eating a good diet of at least 1200cal and aren't tired or sick all the time then keep doing what your doing as its working for you.0

It tends to slow down. You might want to post your stats so people can help you a bit more.0

Also. The suggested calorie intake on here is 1990 calories and I'm always under that.thunder1982 wrote: »Its kinds hard to give you feedback just from your post and your profile doesnt tell me much more. 30 pounds is a lot of weight for what I am guessing is 8-9 weeks. You need to give us more information, what have you input as your rate of loss for MFP to give you 1990 calories?
What's your weight/height, how many calories are you eating a day on average? Are your activity settings correct?
As someone has said before if you have a lot to lose 30lbs in 8 weeks isn't too much to worry about, but it totally depends on how much you have to lose (also bear in mind a lot of it will be water weight).
What is your rate of loss currently? It's likely that you lost more in the first few weeks due to water weight, and your loss may have slowed to 2lbs a week.0 -
If you weigh 800 lbs, 30 is not so much....0
