So a little about me. I'm 28 and I am 250 lbs. now that's down from my all time high of 278 lbs. about 4 months ago. I haven't always been "morbidly obese" as my doctor puts it. I used to be in relatively good shape as far as being active and keeping the weight off. One thing though I've always been a big guy, I don't mean fat, I am seriously just naturally big boned and big muscled and haven't weighed under 190 since I hit puberty even when I was in school and I played every sport they offered all year long. I used to have a problem with the way I looked because I could never get to be that skinny guy that was flat and you could wrap your arms around. Now that I've actually gotten large I'm much more comfortable with my natural body type and would love to get back down to under 200. So a tiny bit more background and more recent, I just quit drinking and smoking about 5 months ago. That helped the initial start of losing weight, now unfortunately I've turned to food and inactivity since I quit. Now I'm stalled out at 250 and wanting to make an effort in changing yet another lifestyle because to be honest I haven't been watching what I eat and making sure I get proper exercise in about 3 years. Nor have I made an effort to reach out for help or surrounded myself with anybody much less positive people. So I guess this is me reaching out for help, so thank you for reading and I hope to hear from some of you.
