The best advice I can give you, especially if you are in constant pain, is to see a doctor. That being said, I also experience pain in my knees from time to time. I have done a few things to take care of it. First, I bought Animal Pak Flex, which has been nothing short of amazing. Secondly, I bought some new shoes (1 pair for running the other for cross training) that helped my legs/feet in general. Third, I wear knee wraps when squatting. I hope this helps a little. I can't imagine how painful working out is if the stairs cause issues. Best of luck to you!0

Go see your doctor and probably get a referral to a Physical Therapist.0 -
IT band strengthen exercises will likely help. You can find tons online. Yoga is also good0

You can try Fish Oil and / or NSAID's but if you don't figure out why you're experiencing this pain in your knees it's rather useless. It's like mopping up water on the floor but not figuring out where the leak is coming from.0 -

Sam is absolutely correct. Knee pain is one of those things you can't band-aid and even if you could the risk highly outweighs the reward.0
