I hardly ever drink liquor these days but the other day I went to Trader Joe's to grab a few bottles of wine for my mom on the way to her house for a Halloween party and I felt offended that the guy that rang me up at the register didn't ask for my ID. It was an odd feeling. I almost wanted to ask him if he wanted to see it but then I was like, well, I guess I better start getting used to this.
Then again, I was dressed as a giant ketchup bottle and my date that night was a giant mustard bottle. Although I don't know if that had anything to do with the clerk making me feel "not young" anymore.
