Muffins and sweets are carb bombs, it's true. I find for the calories, they don't leave me full and satisfied as long as, say, some oatmeal with fruit and nuts for the same amount of calories.0

You can enjoy muffins everyday, if you make it fit into your calories.
I aim for 1 pound loss a week, and in the last 70 days I have indeed lost 1 pound a week. My goal is 1310 calories a day, but I eat around 1500/1600 thanks to exercise.0 -

If your calorie goal comes from MFP, then it's designed for you to eat your exercise calories back. However, many people find that the calorie burns provided by MFP are over-estimates, so they only eat a portion of the calories back.
How long has it been since you've lost weight?0 -

I haven't checked but I'm planning to end of this week as I last checked just over 3 weeks ago I was at 72kg, I've just given birth a month ago and overall feel great and can tell I have lost a fair amount of weight. my mid section is what I'm trying to lose mainly as my belly is still blobby lol I don't know when I'll see a huge difference but I'm so waiting for it!0 -

If you've just given birth, your body is still attempting to recover. Given that you aren't checking your weight, I wouldn't call this a plateau. If you're within your calorie goal, having a muffin is fine.0 -
My goal is 2 lb/week but currently I am actually hitting .7-1 lb/week.... I deny myself muffins as they aren't really that filling for how many calories are in them. No snacks, except for when I have cravings, liquid breakfast with 1/2 cup of oats mixed in, and I have salad for lunch or dinner every day.0

I posted this elsewhere, but if you just gave birth a month ago, your body has been through a lot and you should be patient especially when it comes to losing in the stomach, took me 9 months to get my abs back.. also if you are breastfeeding make sure to properly fuel and hydrate.0

I lose about a pound a week. It's a nice pace. Very balanced.0

I recently set my goal to lose a pound a week and it's been rough. I'm use to eating about 1800 calories a day and to go down to 1550 is hard.0

I gave up on the math. At this point, I'm just trying to lose. When it comes off and how much - my body decides that. A pound a week would be the goal, but it doesn't work out that way.
Blueberry muffins are very yummy - especially the 300 calorie types! Three hundred calories on a muffin just doesn't work for me, though. Not only would I be hungry, I'd still have to get most of my vitamins and minerals and now I have only 900 calories with which to cram them in.
I eat a fairly well-balanced diet full of healthy foods, so lots of fruits and veggies. Keeps me full, keeps me healthy, helps me lose weight. And I still get blueberries, just not baked into yummy muffins. Not very often, anyway.0
