Hello! I just got my fitbir surge the other day and I know it syncs with mfp. I recorded my workout today on my surge and its not syncing onto mfp exercise diary.it shows my steps and yesterday under exercise it said something like 'fitbit activities'...'0cal'

I'm just really confused!
If anyone knows anything that can help please let me know!

Thank you!

Yep mine does the same. It does a calorie adjustment at the end of the day instead of registering the actual exercise. I ended up disconnecting it and manually entering the exercise

Have you gone into the app settings on MFP and connected the accounts?

https://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/show/30 for the MFP side of things

    That should get you going.

*edited to add mine syncs calories burned at each mfp sync I do.

It does not add individual exercises, only the calorie adjustments.

Fitbit does not carry across the exercises. It only syncs the calories. If you have the calories coming across and adjusting your mfp totals, why do you need the exercises? If both came across, it would double the calorie counts, putting your exercise calories at double their actual count. Why would you want that?

Thanks for replying but I'm still so confused. My fitbit shows my run and strength training from this morning then I go to mfp and it shows no calories burnt but it does show a quote saying 'fitbit calories adjustment' = 0cals
So I decided to just enter my exercise manually on mfp but then it doubles up on my fitbit log saying run and strength train from fitbit tracking and under that it shows mfp exercise that I just manually added.. Sorry haha I'm so confused should I just not add it manually to mfp and wait and see at the end of the day if it syncs?

Mine syncs when I log something else, such as food and at various times throughout the day. You might also navigate to the fitbit homepage account settings and see if they recognize the link between accounts.
