Hey guys! I'm Kay, and this is my first time here on MFP. Not my first time losing weight, though... I lost 25 kg (so almost 4 st) a few years back, but unfortunately I put it all back on. My relationship with food is pretty tricky - I have tendencies for binge/comforting eating; plus I spend most of my days in an office where there is a huge stash of free chocolate bars and soft drinks almost directly behind me. :(

I'm only on Day 2 of my diet, but it still feels like a milestone - yesterday was the first day in almost a year when I DID NOT give in to my cravings. I would normally come home, make myself a big bowl of cheesy chips and then snack on crisps/chocolate later in the day. But yesterday I got back from work, resisted snacking before dinner (my biggest weakness), and then later in the evening when I started getting the sugar cravings, I manage to mute them by drinking a couple of mugs of green tea.

So yes, only one successful day so far but it feels like a milestone already. This is going to be a long journey, but I've done it before, I can do it again, I hope. Reading MFP for tips and advice has been really helpful so far. Thanks for reading, and if anyone would like to be friends, let me know!

Way to go!!! Each successful day will make it easier and it will become second nature. You won't even think of the temptations around you at work soon. Using MFP helps keep me accountable and motivated. I love seeing everyone else having success too! Add me if you like..
