Silly NSV

Tonight we took our son out to celebrate graduating from kindergarten. I ordered a hamburger with a bun (splurge) and instead of French fries I ordered broccoli and I didn't eat anyone else's French fries or taste dessert. I would NEVER have done that before (I struggle with will power) and I feel great about my will power and splurge dinner but not too much of a splurge.

That is all!

Totally awesome! I don't have a lot of will power either.

Not silly at all! It is one of hopefully many repetitive acts that become habits that become part of your DNA. I haven't had anything made of processed sugar in four months by going by the day to day refusal to have any because my body didn't need it...at this point, I don't crave sweet things anymore...

Now fatty foods...don't get me started. I want pizza and mexican EVERY SINGLE EFFING DAY!!!

We forget that each one of these daily triumphs over old bad habits is a step in the right direction and something to be proud of! Great job fighting the urge!!:)

Weight loss is a series of small victories, and the victory over will power is the biggest, if that makes any sense. Congrats!
