Pushups situps and 2 mile time

Losing 40 lbs by june 2017, probably more like 60 but thats the minimum.
Is it possible to reach 71 push ups and 71 sit ups in two minutes, and a 13 minute 2 mile at a caloric deficit? Joining the army then and want to max out pft scores. Thanks.

In 19 months? The first two are doable. The third, I have no idea. For some reason I thought that the run was 1.5 miles, not 2 miles.0

Where are you now? 71 pushups doesn't seem like a problem in 2 minutes. No idea on situps as I don't do them...ever. 2 miles in 13 minutes is doable, but pretty tough I would think. There's only one way to find out...0

Completely doable! As you start getting into more intense training you will have to tweak your nutrition to help sub stain your workouts. But the more intense workouts will help you lose weight. So start now and slowly increasing the amount you can do and how far you can run and then work on speed for the sit-ups and push ups. Running, incorporate sprints at least once a week to help build your speed. Watch some you tube videos of how the sit-ups and push ups are performed for the pt test, they do them a bit differently. Great idea getting fit now. They will no doubt test you when you first arrive for basic training and if you don't make the cut they put you in a special fitness program (at least that's how they did it when I joined in 1987). From the looks of it I would not want to be in that program. They worked those guys out hard every night.
