I want to get rid of my inner thigh fat in order to slim my legs. The muscles on my legs get strong pretty quick. I know I should be using low resistance high intensity workouts, But anyone know of a good workout routine that worked for them? Also would you recommend the elliptical ?

Losing weight is like trying to dry out a sponge, you can't dry a corner while the rest is still wet.

You can't spot reduce. Inner thigh exercises will strengthen the muscles there, but will do nothing for the fat.

It all comes down to calorie intake. You can lose the fat there without ever doing any type of exercise. Cardio helps your heart and lungs, plus it can increase your calorie burn slightly. Resistance training/weight lifting will help you keep your muscle, which means you have a leaner body when you lose the fat.

It comes down to having an overall calorie deficit and losing fat until it comes off where you want it to. That can be from diet alone or diet and exercise. Whatever you want to create the deficit.

It also comes, more importantly,a clean diet and how your body chooses to and where it burns fat first and last.

It comes down to consistent calorie deficit. Exercise helps with deficit, but no exercise reduces fat from the body by targeting it. Fat loss is systematic and as one loses fat, genetic predisposition will decide where fat loss usually comes of last.

You don't have to have a "clean diet" to lose body fat. I ate junk up until a couple of weeks before my bodybuilding competitions. I only cut them out at that point because my calories and macros made it harder to fit them in.

A "clean diet" can't do much, as you can eat clean and still eat more than you burn.
