My advice is 5lb at a time, I wanted to lose 60lb I didn't need to and its very over whelming I'm currently 46lbs down and you can do this. Weigh solid food measure liquid, log accurately stick to calories MFP gives you and don't rule any food out unless health issues with food groups. Do any exercise you enjoy and it happens slowly slowly but anything worthwhile takes time

do you have a food scale? it really and truly makes this place work
log everything before you eat it.
plan your daily meals and snacks.
i avoid fast food - since i can never make good choices

Food scale = great. But the rest of this?

    I don't pre-log anything. I don't plan daily meals or snacks. I don't restrict fast food.

All foods that I enjoy fit into a reasonable calorie deficit.

You can do it, OP! Don't over complicate it.
