how to best log strength training

I have a hard time accurately logging my weight lifting. Anyone have any suggestions how to get my total workout all on here?

I don't log strength training on MFP. I plan out everything using spreadsheets, print them out and scribble on them while exercising, and then transfer that info over into Bodyspace. I log on Bodyspace (bodybuilding.com's logging site) and like it because I can create templates and then just reuse them over and over, filling in the weights and reps that I use.

I don't log strength training either. It doesn't burn very much and since it is basically impossible to come up with an estimation, I just do it and don't worry about it.

I include my sessions as part of my TDEE.

I log my sets/reps to adequately track my progression.

I may have misunderstood the question. Are we talking about logging your strength training for calories or logging to keep track of what you are doing?

Maybe I misunderstood as well. I was speaking in terms of calories. I log/track sessions/progression on an app called "Strong".

Assuming you're talking about tracking the workout, and not the calories, I just use a little moleskine book to plan / track (on the weekend, I put the next week's program in the book, and during the workout if there is any deviation from program I'll note it in the book). I program computers for a living, but some things are just better done with old school paper.

Lets just make this easy 250 calories for weight lifting per hour seems to be a number a lot of people use personally I rarely eat them back if I do its on a cheat day where I am a 1000 calories over for a day (steak:) I just figure I was good the previous 6 days (1500 burned calories) so have a beer too...

Its amazing what we can convince ourselves of isn't it? I have been at maintenance for 5 months so maybe it true...lol...

What is a good website for competition goers...anyone? I want to compete next year (Spring) and need all the great advice I can get. I get confused on micros vs macros and a few other things. I am aiming for bikini and possibly figure depending on my muscle mass once I diet and shred the fat off.....thanks in advance xo

I do not log my lifting on here.. it is a pain... Plus it does not burn very many calories so I do not worry about that aspect of it all .

I also used to use bodyspace but I now have my own system using spreadsheets..
