    I absolutely hate pumpkin pie. I hate the texture, and I hate nutmeg. Sorry to disappoint :s

    I leave the ginger out of the recipe and sometimes bake it without a crust - but gotta have whipped cream!

    I'm weighing in from across the pond (England) here. I made a pumpkin pie for Halloween with my American friend, and oh my God I can't believe I've never had one before! Tastes like egg custard tart which is my favourite thing in the whole world. Will definitely be adding it to my treats list!

    When I hear people say they don't like pumpkin pie, it makes me think of a quote by Clark W. Griswold:
    "I think you're all ****** in the head!"
    I love me some pumpkin pie, especially chilled but warm is ok, too.
