It's true, I failed to maintain my weight loss! It didn't happen straightaway, I kept the weight off for almost three years then a year ago decided I knew what I was doing and didn't need to log on MyFitnessPal anymore. I did keep weighing my food and exercising but this April after starting a new job my weight came on with a vengeance! I am now 7kgs (14lbs) heavier and my clothes, heck even my boots are too tight. So I'm back logging, day two today and need your support to encourage me please! I know this weight gain might not seem that much but it is the start of the slippery slope for me based on past experience. So please reply, friend me whatever to keep me on the straight and narrow!

I took my eye off the ball at the start of the summer. I knew I would gain weight as I fell off the wagon totally, cakes, wine, sweets :open_mouth: and I ended up 8lbs heavier in just those few months. Back on MFP now and happy to be your buddy while we get back on track - day 4 logging on today! Please friend me.

@ladypenel sending you a FR. Don't worry, we've all been/are there. About five months ago I was probably in the best shape ever and then life happened and once again I gained some weight. I have started a new approach now with the eat more 2 lose weight group on here and hoping to see some permanent changes. Still very early in the process for me but others have had great results while maintaining a healthy and more balanced approach to WeightLoss. Figure that all I have is time so why rush

You didn't fail at weight loss; you simply failed to realise it's not a temporary commitment.
And now you're here, so you no longer even fail at that.
    Welcome back :)

Don't look at it as a failure, look at it as a lesson learned.

    You caught it though!
I knew I was getting fatter but chose to ignore it somehow and managed to gain 40-50ish lbs! So now my road back is even harder. Good for you for getting started again NOW
