Almost there! (With pictures)

My weight loss started after seeing pictures from New Years and stepping on the scale at the doctor's a week later. I had been steadily gaining weight but kept making excuses and thought it's only bad if I get over 150. Well I did go over 150 and was pushing 160 and realized I needed to change. I wasn't happy with myself, I was getting winded climbing up a flight of stairs, and I was wasting a lot of money on fast food. After my doctor's office awakening, I joined a gym, started eating better, and the weight fell off. I took up running after 3 months of increasing my endurance at the gym and did 2.5 miles my first day. I was so excited that I kept running longer distances and more frequently, unfortunately leading to shin splints. I've managed to deal with those and ran my first 10K on May 29th and now I'm addicted. I hit a plateau a month ago and was very discouraged but the message boards helped tremendously and introduced me to the 30 Day Shred. I'm on day 8 and loving it, lost 2.5 pounds since the beginning, and I can't wait to see the end results. Just a few more pounds to go and hopefully a little less squish in the middle!

Great job! Lookin good!
And yes, running is very addicting. I know...I'm also a runner...well, sort of. I run 1-3 times a week around 4.25 each time out. My pace is very slow, but since I've been working out with a trainer 2x a week, that seems to be helping and I'm able to not take as many walking breaks and the hills are easier.
Keep up the amazing work!0 -
