about 10 days ago I was weighed at the hospital at a weight of 52.2kg over the past 10 or so since I've been eating around 1600-2200 calories a day and have apparently some how managed to put on 5kg?? To 9stone
I brought the scales newly today so I doubt there would be any problems with them but I just don't understand this weight gain as 5kg in 2 weeks is slightly ridiculous?? Please help

You can't really compare the readings from 2 different scales. Keep track from now using the same scale at the same time of day.0

Do you think 5kg is a realistic amount to gain in 2 weeks? I'm at a loss as to how I would've gained this much ?

You haven't gained 5kg though. To do so you would of had to have over eaten by 38500 calories.
You are trying to compare weights taken at different times (I'm surmising) and on different scales. When I get up on a morning I weigh up to 5lbs lighter than I do come bed time. I haven't gained 5lbs, I just have water weight, food weight etc.
Don't worry about it. Start tracking it from now using the same scale.0 -

I'll reiterate the above ^^
When I was weighed at the doctor, I was around 4lbs lighter than my bathroom scale. From now on, stick to the same scale.0
