Hard to stay motivated

I've tried multiple times to drop some weight but its hard without someone keeping me motivated! Anyone wanna be my weight loss buddy and keep me on track??

    Motivation comes from within you. No-one can want this for you - you have to want it for yourself.

    Gotta echo the statement that nobody else can do this for you.

    Just start and stay with it. Take your time, don't get upset by the ups & downs of life. Just stay with it. Make sure your calorie deficit isn't too severe. Weigh your food & log it.

    Motivation might come & go - but staying steady will get you results.

    Hey friend! I think weight loss buddies are awesome. Sometimes I for sure get motivated when I see what people are doing and eating and I want to encourage them by staying strong too. If you're looking for that I'm here for ya! So long as you don't hold it against me when I slip up now and again. After all we are only human ;)

    I agree it comes from with in but I find knowing that someone might check my diary helps me not eat at times... You got to want it and be willing to change. Then add in some accountability - mfp is awesome for that part. Feel free to friend me and I'll try to help.

    As much as possible I try not to rely on motivation, but I try to build habits, since those tend to persist even in absence of motivation. I mean, I'm not 'motivated' to brush my teeth, but it's just something I do every morning and evening. Planning my next day's meals is getting to be like that, as is following my meal plans.
