    Successes/struggles: I lost weight, even though it was Thanksgiving- my favorite holiday. I think part of that success was due to logging in everything- even on Turkey Day! I went WAY beyond my daily calorie limit, but the next day, I was back on track. I think awareness of everything you eat is a huge key to success!

    Weight lost/gained this month: During the month of Nov. 2015, I've gained back the 20 lbs I'd lost during the month of Oct. 2015. Rapid loss = complete regain+

    Successes/struggles this week:
    My struggles so far has been sticking to my meal plan & becoming physically active. Sticking to my meal plan is hard when there are other, more desirable, foods in the house (i.e. pizza, cake, sodas, Taco Bell etc.) Smells, like those from Taco Bell or McDonald's, can be quite overwhelming. And as far as remaining inactive, I just have not been able to motivate myself to get out of the house. My excuse has been it's cold, or too wet & the roads are flooded. I just have not found any physical activity that I can get into yet. I'm sure there's hope for me though.

    My goal may not sound too extreme but I'm not sure what weight I'll be happy with (I was 145 when I started using MFP).

    I'm going to work in more strength training into my exercise and see what kind of a difference that makes.

    Hi ACJP2014: What do you think would help you get your days started? What do you think you'd need to stick with your fitness goal? I ask because I struggle with depression, and it is usually extremely difficult for me to get out of bed each day, let alone stick to my health/diet & exercise plan for the day. But what I've found helpful is soliciting support from the people I live with, AND writing down my goal(s)/plan(s) before I go to bed each night, then reviewing and [kind of] meditating over them as soon as I wake up. Just think about doing that. Because ultimately, it is only YOU that can change or fix your problems. No one will do it for you. You have to force yourself. Remember to forgive yourself. And more importantly, JUST DO IT!

    I'm in! I lost 60lbs using MyFitnessPal about 4 years ago and have slowly let about 30lbs creep back on :-( Now I've signed up for a Warrior Dash in May and need to get rid of those extra pounds and gain some muscle!

    Successes/struggles this week: I started off the week by jumping back on the wagon and recording all my calories on MyFitnessPal. I also hopped on the treadmill this morning rather than getting back into bed after I put my son on the bus. I was going to just walk a mile, but I ended up walking some, but mostly running 2.8 miles! Wooohoooo! I can do this!!!
