How much does your weight fluctuate?

I have been tracking my weight every day because even though some people don't see it this way, it motivates me to keep going. When I see the scale moving down I want it even more. When I see it go up a little it just makes me want to work harder - and that's what keeps me going every day.
Anywho, I am just wondering how everyone's weight goes? Some week i'll be all over the charts (like a 4-5lb different, but still most weeks end up losing something), other weeks i'll stay right at the same weight all week minus what i'm losing. Night to day, I am about 2-3lbs heavier before bed.
How about you?

Here too...2-3lbs heavier at night. I use my morning weight as my actual0

I fluctuate about 2-3 lbs, mostly due to my water intake that day and/or eating foods high in sodium (I weigh less on high water days, and more on low sodium days). Drinking enough water has a major influence on my body.0

Mine is about 3 lbs through out the day... I weigh like 4 times a day hehehe It keeps me going too...do what works for you0
-
Everyday I check mine too (I feel the same way you do, it keeps me moving) and it does the same up and down everyday usually 1-3 lb difference.0
-
I also fluctuate between 2 to 3 lbs throughout the day. Sometimes, if I'm really lucky, it remains constant all day. I consider that a great day!0

I always gain about 3 pounds over the course of the day too. It's hard to say what it does over the week because I've been hitting a plateau of sorts ever since I've been home from school and able to weigh myself every day.0

I weigh myself every morning. I haven't noticed any fluctuation beyond 2lbs or so.
My scale motivates me too. When my pounds start dropping fast, it's a huge motivation boost. When the pounds stay the same... I get annoyed, but it still motivates me. My longest and only plateau only lasted two weeks, though. A 4+ week plateau could be really frustrating, I imagine.... I hope I won't have to deal with it ever!0 -
Daily for me as well....it keeps me on track, even though, I know some days will be more than others. From morning to night I range +2-3 pounds.\gh0

I don't weigh more than once a day, but in the past I have weighed myself late at night and have been 2-3 pounds heavier than I was the next AM. I figure it's water as well as dinner that hasn't yet "gone thru the system". I figure as long as my weight hasn't gone up by the next weigh in, I'm probably ok, even with daily weight fluctuations.0

Gahhh.
I weigh myself first thing in the morning (after I pee), then at night right before I go to bed.
It's usually like 3 pounds heavier at night, due to the food I've eaten all day, and my water.
I'm on like a plateau right now.
And it's killing me. ]:
The scale is NOT my friend right now.0 -
2-3 lbs more at night for me as well. I go by what I weigh first thing in the morning.0

Mine is about 3-5 lbs depending on what I eat. Also if its that TOM, I can gain a bit. I weight myself all the time. When I am at home, I weight EVERY time after I pee. HEHE But just like you it keeps me going, pushing!
Good Luck!

Depending on how much water I drink & my sodium intake, I usually weigh 2-4 pounds heavier @ night.0

I weigh two times a day. Once in the morning and once at night. I usually fluctuate 2-3 pounds from morning to night, but have been as high as 5 pounds heavier once. I only track my weight with MFP on Monday mornings though. Helps keep me motivated to stay on track over the weekend knowing that I would like to have a good number on Monday mornings.0

I weighed last Wednesday, and have not weighed since. I'm scared to. Lol! I hate scales and typically don't use them, but my bf weighs himself every day . . . So that made me curious. I will weigh myself again on Wednesday. . . I generally just go by how my clothes fit (or don't fit). Ha ha ha!0

im glad im not the only one who weighs every day, and sees that as motivation to keep on going !!! i am mostly told to stay off the scale every day, but i am addicted to it..i only weigh once in the morning, after bathroom twice, and my body has woken up a little bit, so i dont know how much i fluctuate..best of luck tho :drinker:0

I weigh myself a thousand times a day. Before I get on the scale I can almost guess exactly what I will weugh cobsidering what I ate and drank. Im in tune. Usually a pound or two heavier on the nights I dont lose, on the nights I do, I go to bed the same I woke up. So glad to see im not the only person that weighs constantly. Some peeps thinks its freakish0

I am 2.5lbs heavier at night..gross.0

my weight usually stays with in a pound through out the day, but then again i always way myself either nude or in a bra and panties. one day i weighed myself then got dressed and weighed my self again and my work clothes [shorts, polo & belt, no socks shoes or hat] weigh 2.6 lbs.0

For the past month or so, my morning weight fluctuates between 146 and 149. So a 3 lbs range. My night time weight is between 149 and 154. I'm pretty reliably 4 lbs lighter when I wake up than when I went to sleep. I'm in sort of "maintenance mode" right now in terms of scale weight. When I was in "weight loss mode", the fluctuations were similar. 4 lbs night to morning, almost like clockwork. And weight would fluctuate day by day, week by week, but with an overall downward trend.0

i check my weight each morning and night. i don't read too much into my daily fluctuations, just prefer the extra data as i try to learn how my body reacts to different foods and routines. i'm almost always 4 pounds heavier at night. i officially 'record' my weight once a week.0

probally about3/4 lb at night and then certain times of the month(around ovulation) it sky rockets and gives me a shock!! lol0
-
I sometimes see as much as a 5-6 lb variability. I really wish I knew where it all was coming from/going to!0
-
I usually see 3-4 lbs difference between morning and night and because of this I NEVER step on the scales at night. I do not weigh on monday morning because I am very suseptable to water weight from high sodium foods and we eat out alot over the weekends, so I usually weigh Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, first thing after I pee in my birthday suit.
Just a note, watch the salt intake, if I eat too much, I can be up as much as 5lbs by morning, feel your body, does your feet and hands feel tight, are your joints stiff? These are the small things I notice after eating out at a restaurant, like Chinese or fast food...0
