I am turning 38 tomorrow and need to lose 30 lbs. I have been lifting weights 3 times a week and eating better could use some support

    I lost 50 in one year. Ten at a time. Egg on roll w/ tomatoes spinch breakfast. Yogurt w/ fruit lunch, anything for dinner but one portion. 2 light beers. I'm not hungry. I hope this helps. Good luck.

    Happy birthday, but you aren't going to lose it by tomorrow. :D

    Just kidding.

    Eating better is within one's perception. To lose that 30 pounds you are going to need to eat less calories than you burn, whether or not you weight lift. 30 pounds is not that much. I suggest setting your goals up in MFP to lose about a pound a week, weigh your food, log everything you eat, and stay within your calorie goals.

    I am tracking my food and set goals. I had my calorie goal at 1800 but I just adjusted it to 2000. I work in a factory for 12 shift that is very physical. So I don't think I'm getting enough calories. I am having trouble eating enough. I will have a little treat for my birthday

    You are doing almost exactly what I did...I was 245lbs, ate about 2100cals, worked out 3x per week with weights, and did some cardio. I lost 50lbs......I was 46 yrs old....you can do it!

    Happy Birthday tomorrow....I am hitting 40 in less than 2 months and I would love to be smaller than I was this time last year. So far I am getting there!
