Used to be peach. Celiac disease took the joy of pie away. Gluten free crust just isn't the same.

I can't pick a favourite - I love every kind of pie. My friends and I used to have a pie club where we got together to bake a different pie every month :)

Apple. The crust must be perfect; flaky top and bottom.

If, and only if the fruit is perfectly ripe, nectarine and blueberry pie. But it's hard to find super ripe nectarines.

Otherwise, banana cream with a touch of toffee, closely followed by coconut cream. Both Maida Heatter's(sp) recipes.

Apple maybe. I haven't eaten very many different pies.

Lemon meringue. I eat all the meringue first and then dig into the lemon and crust.

PIE!! Chocolate cream is my favorite but my mom makes a really, really good strawberry pie with fresh picked strawberries. I could eat the whole thing!

Pumpkin or chocolate mousse or pudding. Or coconut or banana cream. Or peach with the crispy cobbler stuff on top.

Lemon meringue ( not the gross tangy lemon the good stuff) and cherry. Used to love pecan but nuts no longer agree with my GI system lol

Pecan as well, but I've really begun to appreciate fruit pies.

Apple - but I'm picky, picky, picky about it. Woodbine Country Farm Store in Strasburg, VA sells some of the best I've ever tasted.

    Blueberry is fabulous too.

    Don't like pecan. Too sweet.

Pecan or French Silk Chocolate Pie! And PeachyCarol, you just haven't met the right crust yet! I just made pecan pie for Thanksgiving and the crust was flakey, melt in your mouth goodness and gluten free.

For the sweet stuff? Can't go wrong with classic apple pie!

For the main course before the dessert? Steak and Ale, hands down.
