I believe that some husbands and some wives may feel threatened or guilty when their spouse begins to get fit or work on losing weight. This results in a laugh, snide comment or some other subtle slight. I've seen this before. Focus on what is best for you and don't let other's comments distract you.0

Couldn't agree more. I'm a guy and my SO recently rolled her eyes when I told her I lost 5 pounds on my goal to lose 30 before my birthday (March 1st). Her response both hurt and annoyed but isn't going to detract me from my focus. Keep your eye on the prize!0
