They are pretty tasty when they aren't burnt. The calorie count isn't too bad, and the macros are fine (depending on your goals), but they don't keep me feeling full for long. I wouldn't say they taste like regret or anything.

If I ever get anything from McDonald's, I only get the Filet-o-Fish. It's nothing special but I don't think I could switch. I only go about once a year though...

Don't you find they bubble your gut though?

Honestly, I haven't had one in about 2 years. I prefer home made stuff now. There are things that certainly make me wish I could undo it all, but I wouldn't say and Egg Muffin would be one. I might have to go grab one tomorrow to confirm, since tastes can change over time. Their hotcakes did me in last time I had those, little rubber monsters that bounced around in my belly for hours

It's just Canadian bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin. I love them when I'm heading out of town on a road trip. The rest of the time, I just end up wishing they'd toast the darned English muffin!

I've never had an English muffin either. :o

I've never had one. It just never appealed to me, but then it's taken years for me to enjoy fish.

My stomach is a bit of a garbage disposal though! I also play it fast and loose with expiry dates  It seems to take a lot to really bother my stomach.

Then I burped fake maple syrup for hours. Now that was the taste of regret!

I feel like it's pretty mild for a fish dish. Just a lot of grease and then some tangy sauce to go with it. (I make it sound appealing right??)

Well get yourself over to Camden in London and you'll never forgot the goodness British pub grub can do!

Camden is fab, I'll definitely be visiting again! Most of my UK food experience was just getting sushi from Waitrose...

Is there good Brit pub food? Or does it just seem like it's good at the time? It's been a long time since I've been over there, but I really don't remember the pub food. Which should tell you that I at least had a good time (I assume).

I can't make any promises. I'm usually pretty good though.

    Oh wow, sushi from waitrose?

You came to the UK and spent your time eating sushi from waitrose?

You definitely need to rethink your next trip to the UK :p

Some of the greatest food experiences happen when you're too drunk/hungover and the food only tastes good at that time... If you've experienced this... It's magical.

You're all gonna think I'm a freak, but I've never had kebab either. I've only heard stories. And seen the glob with my own eyes but I didn't dare touch it.

I have certainly experienced this, and do sometimes wonder if the food actually contributed to the hangover. If not the hangover, it certainly contributes to the overall sense of regret

I used to have so many 3AM pizzas with my friends some years ago, but gladly I've dropped this habit. I would always think they were the best stuff I ever ate, but really I couldn't handle one sober, so...

Oh jeez, this is the bottom of the Barrel kinda stuff

I have a good one--I once ordered a burger with mayo and cheese only. When it had everything BUT mayo on it, brought it back to the counter and the guy said with a straight face "Well we were out of mayo."
