My splurge today at lunch ... wow ... went to Tokyo Buffet here and they had a ton of food outside sushi, but one plate of this was all I needed! Fantastic!

Great... I just paid the furnace repairman $550 to fix my boiler and now I have to scrape up another $30 for sushi on the way home tonight. I curse your impressive photography skills.0

I was in Okinawa for almost 2 years in the early 70's studying for my Black Belt. Never tried sushi once. One day in the early 80's, I decided to give it a try. I now regret all the good sushi I missed while in Okinawa. Saw a guy order Uni one day and turned my nose up at it. He told me it was an acquired taste and if I ever tried it it would eventually become a favorite. He was so right. It's the first and last thing I order when I go to a sushi bar.

I make California rolls fairly often at home, but I don't trust myself with the raw fish... I don't feel I know enough about it to be safe.I took a sushi making course...it's REALLY fun to make
