Looking to star gaining muscle and lifting where do I start

Good morning all, I am trying to get back into shape. I am not concerned so much about my weight loss as I am about my muscle gain, but I have never really tried to gain muscle. I was always under the impression thinner was better. I have things like a pull up bar, resistance bands, and a few weights (right now ranging from 8lb to 25lb) But I am not really sure where to begin and what is important to work on. My biggest thing is I would love to tone my arms and thighs. Please help!!!! Thank you all have a wonderful day!!!1

Fitness Blender is free and has a varied assortment of exercise routines. Search them.

Stronglifts 5X5 is a good starter program. You can download the app and watch videos for form at stronglifts.com.

It's easy, relatively quick workouts (about 45 minutes), and I have seen visible results. In fact...

That's six weeks of difference. Counting calories, too, of course.

You are your own gym, Convict Conditioning. If you're on reddit, there's a sub reddit called bodyweightfitness that's pretty good.

Your post is a little conflicting, you want to "tone" and you want to gain muscle. If you want to gain muscle (and by gain I'm assuming you mean you want bigger muscle) you have to do a progressive load program like stronglifts, new rules of lifting for women, etc and eat at a surplus. Now if you just want to "tone" up, keep the existing muscle you have then you can do any program that involves weights.

Awesome work and progress! I have seen several people mention and recommend Stronglifts. Is there a fee?
